Those observant readers among you will have noticed that I have updated my blog roll in the side bar. I’m also now using the blogger widget that gives the last post on each blog. There are a few blogs missing from last year, mostly because they are moribund and have not been updated for ages. But there is one notable blog that has ceased to be completely. It has been deleted. It is not there any more. Gone, absent. It is, or was, Conservengland written by Dorothea.
Except it’s not entirely gone. I’ve still got the last 200 posts on my feed reader stored on my hard drive. And I’ve backed it up.
A British blogger has been intimidated by the police. The Reverend Stephen Sizer didn’t like comments and criticism made on the Seismic Shock blog, so got the police to physically intimidate the blogger, to take down that mild criticism.
ReplyDeleteThis is a clear freedom of speech issue, the police should not be used to intimidate bloggers.
I urge you to publicise this issue and support Seismic Shock, as “I too am Seismic Shock”

I can't say why Dorothea's blog was deleted. I just don't know. But I have emailed her to ask. She usually takes a while to respond.
