I don't have any answers. Neither am I aware of anyone else who has any answers. I know lots of people who "think" they have "all" the answers, and that's the problem. I suspect the trick is knowing which questions to ask, but I haven't figured it out yet!

Going Bats
At this time of year Mrs Weggis and I often sit out on the rear patio at dusk to watch the bats swooping across our back garden from next doors foliage and feasting upon the flying insects above our own small piece of well tended nature. But since next doors foliage has been severely cut back, see previous post, I though it was about time that I put up the Bat Box that Miss Weggis bought me for Christmas three years ago.

Is anyone living in it yet? It says on my box 10 metres high and other exacting requirements. Which means that it is going to take me months to get around to putting it up.
ReplyDeleteNo. Hardly likely at the moment what with all the building activity next door. Hardly any birds in the garden either. All next doors cover has gone.
ReplyDeleteHave you checked the "Permitted Development" rules? I think it is 4 metres max. which is why I have gone for a low rise development.
