Facebook and Privacy

I see that a Liberal Democrat councillor oop norf has got herself into a spot of trouble over something posted on Facebook. Now, I thought Facebook was supposed to be “private” in that only those who you approve of can see your stuff. But recently a change was made whereby you can see comments posted by a “friend” onto another’s status. Such is how I came to see the below. I should add that I did not see this via my Weggis Facebook Account, but one used for the local community group who are interested in what our councillors get up to. I’m not going to name them, but the second one is a local councillor and a member of the majority ConDem coalition. I’ve got my eye on him!
If you work for British Airways and are on strike this week, next time you see a soldier who's returned from Afghanistan make sure you tell him/her about your awful working conditions, poor uniform and low pay.
Too bloody right [name removed]. These people are the self obsessed self interested rump of union fascism, "all for us, bugger all for you" being their motto.
I have sent a message to the latter:
It could be argued that it is precisely because the Armed Forces do NOT have Union Representation, that they are subject to such abuse by their employers?
I’ll let you know if I get a reply.

Voting

I've just been round to cast my votes.
No prizes for guessing who I voted for in the General, but the Locals were much more problematic. No Greens!

I am now off to cleanse myself with a shower, shampoo and a shave, confess my sins and sit on the naughty step for 10 minutes.
