When White is Green

It would appear that some Green bloggers are still under the misapprehension that having a black screen background saves energy. It doesn’t. All it does is make my eyes hurt and make them want to fall out onto my keyboard, and that's apart from the content. And all I do is hit CONTROL A to reverse your settings anyway.

We have moved on somewhat since BBC Model B micros old chaps. So please be nice chaps and move into the 21st century, won’t you.

Here’s the science.

  1. Surely if you used green letters on black that must have some positive effect on the environment? Maybe the screen can actually photosynthesise energy from the sun? Or something? No?
